A long time ago, (actually it wasn’t that long ago) a young girl grew up loving to hear fairy tales. Her favorites were set in Ireland and Scotland. As she grew, she learned that some of her ancestors were from the places she loved learning about.

 

That was the start of what is Clan Blackwell. A young child interested in fairy tales and Celtic heritage.

 

That young girl married a young man with very similar interests. Together they journeyed to a “far off” sporting event called the Central Florida Scottish Highland Games. There they found that dreams really do come true. The girl found her family’s clan proudly displayed, but the boy…well his clan was nowhere to be seen. This made them both very sad.

 

So the girl (doing what most modern women do) decided to take matters into her own hands and find a solution for this problem. After hours of research she discovered there was really only one thing to do...re-establish the clan herself!
